CTOnews.com December 16 news, Kojima production (Kojima Productions) issued an announcement today, announced that the game studio has been established for eight years, and confirmed that the company is in the second phase of expansion.

Kojima production, founded in 2015, has partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment and 505 Games to release "death stranded" games on PS4, PS5 and PC, with more than 16 million players on all platforms.

Hideo Kojima tweeted that Kojima production has now entered its second phase, and we continue to expand the size of the studio, strengthen the staffing of developers, and develop into a franchise (multi-publishing, sequel production, film adaptation) based on the existing IP (death stranding), while the company's next challenge is to develop a new IP-- "OD".

Kojima Studio also released a celebration video today, saying: "on the 8th anniversary, we have received blessings from our friends. Let's share this joy!"
