On December 15, at the 2023 annual meeting of the artificial Intelligence Industry-University-Research Innovation Alliance of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, dawning signed a cooperation agreement with the first batch of nine key universities, including Yunnan University, to jointly build the "Intelligent Computing Joint Laboratory." Zhang Feng, secretary-general of the artificial Intelligence Industry-University-Research Innovation Alliance of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice president of the Science and Technology Strategic Consulting Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the witness. The signing marks the official launch of the 100-school recruitment program for the Intelligent Computing Joint Laboratory.

The 100-school recruitment program of the Intelligent Computing Joint Laboratory will be launched by colleges and universities across the country, relying on dawning's domestic heterogeneous intelligent computing hardware resources, AI for Science and large model support experience, and scientific research achievements transformation and promotion channels to build a leading talent training environment. Through diversified measures such as professional courses, competition training and practical application, we will promote the adaptation of domestic heterogeneous computing software development and personnel training, and create a new benchmark for the integration of industry and education.

The first batch of cooperative universities, including Yunnan University, Dalian Maritime University and Guangdong Ocean University, are from Yunnan, Liaoning, Guangdong, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Hubei and other provinces and cities, covering a number of national key disciplines. The jointly built Intelligent Computing Joint Laboratory will adopt an innovative talent training program of "1-1-1-2", with a set of teaching course resources, a set of basic computing environment, and two application platforms to facilitate the transformation and landing of scientific research achievements. we will promote the formation of an efficient, stable, open and win-win industry-education collaborative innovation mechanism and ecological environment, and export more new generation of information technology compound talents to truly meet the needs of the market.
