CTOnews.com December 16 news, Asustek recently issued a press release to launch ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus Enterprise (CX5403), which is the first Intel Meteor Lake Chromebook.

Asustek has not officially announced the launch date of the Chromebook, but Intel's 14th-generation U-series chips will not be shipped until early next year, so they will have to wait until early 2024 at the earliest.

Intel Meteor Lake-U TDP is 15W, including 2 high-performance CPU cores, 8 efficiency cores and 2 low-power efficiency cores, as well as 4 Intel Xe kernels.

The Asustek ExpertBook CX54 features a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 to 1600 pixels, a peak brightness of 500 nits and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

CTOnews.com Note: the port is equipped with 2 ThunderBolt 4 ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, 2 USB Type-A ports, and 1 MicroSD card reader.

Asus ExpertBook CX54 supports Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.2 and is equipped with 63Wh batteries, Harman Kardon certified stereo speakers, dual microphones and backlit keyboards.

The Asustek ExpertBook CX54 has up to three external monitors and has been tested by MIL-STD-810H to be less than 17mm (0.66in) thick. The laptop is equipped with up to 16GB LPDDR5X-6400 memory and 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0SSD.
