CTOnews.com, December 16 (Xinhua)-- Apple today released supporting documents reminding users not to use uncertified Apple Watch chargers, which can lead to slow charging, repeated overcharging, and reduced battery life.

Apple officially recommends Apple Watch users to use only Apple's official chargers or chargers with Made for iPhone (MFi) certification and Made for Apple Watch badges.

Apple provided images of the authentic Apple Watch charger and explained the words and anti-counterfeiting marks engraved on the cables.

Apple also provides a list of models of all cables produced to date and provides instructions for using Mac to check the charger manufacturer.

The operation step is to connect the Apple Watch and Mac devices. Users click "system Settings"-> "General"-> "about"-> "system reports" on the Mac device, and view the information about the Apple Watch charger in the "USB" directory.
