According to the infographic, the global smartphone market shipped 299.8 million units in the third quarter of 2023, down 1 per cent from a year earlier.

Samsung is the world's largest smartphone maker, but it fell 8% in the third quarter of 2023 from a year earlier, up 11% from a month earlier.

Among the top five smartphone brands, Xiaomi is the only one with year-on-year growth in the third quarter of 2023, with shipments of 41.5 million units.

Among the top 10 smartphone brands, Glory, Motorola, TECNO and Huawei have achieved double-digit annual growth rates.

Its brands Infinix and itel have also achieved double-digit annual growth rates.

In terms of regional performance, annual shipments in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) grew the fastest, while shipments in North America declined the most.
