According to the report, 48 brands were selected in China, surpassing Japan to become the third largest brand in the world for the first time, with Microsoft taking the top spot, followed by Apple and Amazon.

It is reported that the list covers brands from 32 countries and 47 industries, reflecting the competitiveness and influence of global brands. The United States remains the leader, with 193 brands on the list, while France, China, Japan and the UK have 49, 48, 43 and 34 brands respectively, making it the "second camp" of the world's biggest brands. The performance of Chinese brands in the list is particularly eye-catching, not only reaching an all-time high, but also covering a number of areas, such as electricity, Internet, home appliances, communications, real estate, insurance, alcohol, chemical industry, machinery and so on. Among them, State Grid, Tencent, Haier, Huawei, China Resources, China Life, Wuliangye and other brands ranked in the top 100.

CTOnews.com noted that in this year's list, the food and beverage industry has the largest number of brands, with 35, followed by the automobile and parts industry with 32, and retail and energy with 28 each. In addition, 25 brands are on the list for the first time, of which the highest ranking is US-based Cigna Group, at 85th place, while China has six new brands on the list, including Poly, Douyin, China Huadian, Tongwei, China Aviation Oil and Bosideng.

The report also shows that the average age of brands on the list this year is 98.57 years old, slightly higher than last year's 98.22 years old. 225 brands are over 100 years old, accounting for more than 40%, reflecting the historical accumulation and inheritance of brands. Among the Chinese brands on the list, there are five brands over the age of 100. they are Maotai, Tsing Tao Beer, Wuliangye, Bank of China and AIA.
