This is a small version update that includes some fixes in addition to the previously announced transition from Windows speech recognition (WSR) to voice access.

Changes and improvements to regular Windows 11 are transitioning from Windows speech recognition (WSR) to voice access. WSR is being deprecated. When you open WSR, a dialog box pops up to guide you to try voice access (voice access). We also added a banner under Settings > accessibility > Voice. Voice access is a new assistive technology in Windows 11, which uses the voice recognition function on the device to control your computer and write text without an Internet connection. It will support multiple languages and custom commands in future updates (these features are now available for trial by Windows Insider on Dev and Beta channels). We recommend that WSR users try and start using voice access.

We began to introduce a change to rename the "Phone Link" settings page under "Bluetooth and Devices" to "Mobile Devices".

Repair File Explorer:

Fixed a potential issue that caused the details pane in File Explorer to sometimes accidentally get keyboard focus.

Fixed an issue that caused File Explorer to crash when accessing or scrolling the Gallery.

Enter:

Fixed a high hit rate tabtip.exe crash when trying to use pen input in the previous version.

Copilot in known problem Windows:

When you start Copilot in Windows for the first time or refresh it when using voice access, you need to use the Show Grid command to click the ask me any questions box for the first time.

Widget:

When you re-enable Microsoft Start feeds, you may encounter load delays.

After the feed is hidden, the announcement of the Microsoft Start feed is still displayed on the taskbar.

When you enable or disable the feed, the widget board should be automatically closed and reopened.

The keyboard navigation returned from the settings subpage to the top-level settings page is corrupted.

Incorrect spacing and fonts are used in some settings pages.
