CTOnews.com, December 14 (Xinhua)-- in the iOS 17.3 Beta update released yesterday, Apple invited developers to test the collaborative Apple Music playlist feature, and the latest tests show that the feature supports Emoji Reactions.

Apple invited developers to test the collaborative playlist in iOS 17.2, but removed the feature in the 17.2 Beta 4 update.

Apple announced on Monday that the launch of the feature would be delayed until 2024 and invited developers and users to test it in iOS 17.3.

CTOnews.com previously reported that after opening the Apple Music app, users can click on a small humanoid icon to enable collaboration after creating a new playlist or selecting an existing playlist. Selecting this option will pop up a link that everyone else can click to participate in the collaboration.

People who initiate collaboration can choose to approve those who ask to add songs, but this feature is not enabled by default. Anyone who knows the playlist link can add music, but the owner can turn off collaboration or remove people at any time.

According to the latest news, the collaborative playlist feature also supports Emoji, which allows users to express their feelings directly in Emoji, making collaboration more interesting.

The whole operation experience is similar to the interaction in Messages, where users can express their emotions by clicking Emoji during the playing of the song.

In addition to standard Emoji such as heart shape and thumb up, users can click the "+" button to open the Emoji panel and select the other Emoji they want.
