CTOnews.com learned from the recall announcement that Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will update the power inverter module software for vehicles covered by the recall free of charge. When one drive motor fails, it will switch to another motor to provide driving power, and the vehicle will enter lame mode to eliminate safety risks. For the vehicle with the defect fault of the drive motor in the later use, the gearbox assembly (including the drive motor) will be replaced free of charge.
