(China Power Construction), on December 5, the offshore booster station of Guangdong Power Qingzhou No.1 and No.2 Offshore Wind Power Project, which was supervised by China Power Construction, successfully delivered electricity.

The offshore booster station is the first 500kV AC offshore booster station in the world, with a capacity of 1000 megawatts and a weight of about 6450 tons. it is currently the highest voltage level, largest and heaviest AC offshore booster station built in the world. after the completion of the project, it can provide about 3.6 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity for the power grid every year.

At the same time, the station adopts the first 500 kV and 550 MVA transformer in China, which is the largest reactor with the same voltage level in China. The collected electric energy is continuously transmitted to the land control center through the world's first three-core AC 500 kV XLPE submarine cable, lighting up thousands of households.
