Shulou(Shulou.com)12/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, December 13 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- in the latest release of Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2 beta, Google has optimized the way it shares Wi-Fi passwords to make it easier and faster.
CTOnews.com notes that since the last few Android versions, users have been able to share Wi-Fi passwords with QR codes, or check plaintext passwords after entering PIN codes / passwords or confirming biometrics. This is a very useful feature, and Google is making it easier to use in Android 14.
Currently, to share your Wi-Fi password, you need to go to Settings > Network and Internet > Internet, then open the settings for the Wi-Fi network you want to share and click the share button.
In Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2, Google moved this feature to Quick setup, and when you click on the "Internet" Tile, a new "share Wi-Fi" button appears. When you click this new button, the biometric / PIN option will appear, and after verification, the QR code and plaintext password page will appear.
This is a faster and more intuitive way to use this feature, and it will undoubtedly be more convenient.
