CTOnews.com reported on December 13 that Genisse recently launched a new G80 model in South Korea. As a mid-term revised version of this generation, the new car continues the previous design concept of "athletic elegance" and has been upgraded in many details.

CTOnews.com noted that in terms of appearance, the new G80 uses a redesigned grille with split lamp sets with microlens array technology on both sides. The front bumper is also more sporty and is equipped with 20-inch wheels inspired by aircraft propellers.

The changes in the rear part are mainly reflected in the new bumper and hidden exhaust system. Genisse said the new G80 will be available in ten body colors, including a new color called Brooklyn Brown.

In addition to the standard version, Genisse also showed the G80 Sport version. This version is equipped with a unique sports front bumper with air intake and a V-shaped double exhaust system design.

In terms of interior, the biggest change in the new G80 is the new 27-inch all-in-one OLED display, which integrates digital dashboards and infotainment systems to replace the previous 12.3in and 14.5in displays.

In addition, the new car is equipped with a new dashboard and a "crystal" shift lever, and the interior and center console have been redesigned.

At present, Genisse has not released the specific power information of the new G80, which is likely to continue the power system of the old model. As a reference, the G80 currently sold in China is equipped with a 2.5T four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 223 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 422 Nm. The transmission system matches the eight-speed manual self-integrated gearbox and provides optional four-wheel drive system. At present, the price range of the Genisse G80 on sale in China is 363800-457800 yuan.
