CTOnews.com, December 12 (Xinhua)-- Geely Galaxy New Energy car officially announced today that the Galaxy E8 pure electric car will be put on sale on December 16, which is known as "China's new generation pure electric flagship". At present, the first batch of display cars have arrived, covering 105 stores in 20 cities across the country.

Geely Galaxy E8 official picture has been released before, the car is Geely Galaxy "Intelligent Pure Electric E Series" the first model, based on Geely Group SEA vast architecture.

In terms of appearance, the Galaxy E8 front face adopts the ripple aesthetic design style, the headlamp group shows an upward momentum, and the new glowing square matrix Logo fits on top of the front grille. The side of the body uses a dynamic back-sliding design and provides a hidden door handle. On the rear side, the new car uses the popular penetrating taillights.

In terms of interior decoration, the car is equipped with a 45-inch 8K display screen with an effective display area of 1130 mm * 138mm.

The new car is also equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and Geely's new car system, and will be connected to the Flyme Link mobile phone domain, supporting linkage with Meizu 21, the first launch is equipped with "three fingers task transfer", and supports a series of classic functions such as "address transfer".

In terms of power, the new car is driven by pure electric, the comprehensive power of the single-motor model is up to 200kW, equipped with 76 kWh batteries, and the pure electric mileage can reach 665 km; the dual-motor all-wheel drive version has a power of 165 kW and a maximum speed of 210 km/h.

In terms of aerodynamic performance, the car will be equipped with external AGS active intake grille, low wind resistance closed pneumatic rims and other low wind resistance design, the wind resistance coefficient is 0.199Cd.

Last month, Geely Galaxy E8 four-wheel drive version completed the declaration. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car has a length of 5010mm, a wide 1920mm, a high 1465mm and a 2925mm wheelbase. In terms of power:

Single motor standard continued version (officially named undetermined): 400V architecture, maximum power 272hp, battery capacity 62kWh, charging power 150kW

Single motor long-lasting version: 400V architecture, battery capacity 76kWh, other aspects consistent with the standard life model

Dual-motor four-wheel drive version (known as the "performance version"): front wheel motor 224hp, rear wheel motor 421hp, based on 800V architecture, battery capacity 76kWh, charging power 360kW.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, overseas professional media KM77 conducted Milu deer test and pile winding test on Geely Galaxy E8. According to the test results of KM77, the standard single-motor vehicle takes 3.9s to accelerate from 80km/h to 120km/h and 6.03s for zero acceleration. Geely told KM77 that its top speed is 190km/h (the top speed of the dual-motor version can reach 210km/h).
