On December 12, 2023, the OpenHarmony Talent Ecology Conference (hereinafter referred to as "the Conference") was held in Shanghai. With the theme of "Prosperity Ecology, talents first", this conference invited representatives of well-known colleges and universities and experts and scholars of OpenAtom OpenHarmony (hereinafter referred to as "OpenHarmony") ecological enterprises to attend the conference to sum up the achievements and experiences of OpenHarmony talent ecological construction and explore the prospect of OpenHarmony talent ecological construction. The rapid prosperity of OpenHarmony ecology in the digital age for the Internet of everything

Liu Xiaojian said that in the era of the Internet of everything, with the new industry wave, OpenHarmony came into being. OpenHarmony is an open source project incubated and operated by the Open Atomic Open Source Association (OpenAtom Foundation). The goal is to build a framework and platform for intelligent terminal device operating systems based on open source, and to promote the prosperity and development of the Internet of everything industry. OpenHarmony has been built for the Internet of everything from the beginning of its design. It has technical features and advantages such as pure security, unified base and IoE, and can be widely used in various types of equipment in different industries. It is committed to becoming a digital base for thousands of industries and contributing to the upgrading of the empowering industry and helping digital China.

After three years of development, the OpenHarmony version iterated to version 4.0, with more than 6200 co-builders and 51 co-building units, contributing more than 100 million lines of code. Up to now, more than 220 ecological partners have joined the OpenHarmony open source community, 35 OpenHarmony project donors, 165 partners who have passed the OpenHarmony compatibility evaluation, and a total of more than 220 commercial equipment have been landed, covering, education, smart home, transportation, digital government, industry, and other fields. OpenHarmony has become the root community of the next generation intelligent terminal operating system.

In terms of industrial policy, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Huizhou, Beijing, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Nanjing and other places took the lead in introducing policies and measures to support OpenHarmony to promote ecological construction from the supply side and the demand side. In addition, OpenHarmony is also actively promoting standards and specifications in various industries, making OpenHarmony the industry's preferred choice. At present, it has participated in 8 industry standard organizations, issued 12 white papers / standards, launched 7 test / certification specifications and 5 standard applications, covering government affairs, smart cities, education, / telecommunications, radio and television, energy / manufacturing, transportation and other fields.

Taking talents as the starting point, industry-university-research cooperation to promote the development of OpenHarmony

OpenHarmony, as an open source operating system that has attracted much attention, is attracting more and more talents to join it. In order to further promote the healthy development of talent ecology, a variety of OpenHarmony talent training systems are gradually improved.

Colleges and universities are the cradle of talents. In the aspect of cooperation between colleges and universities, we have cooperated with the institutions in the form of industry-school cooperation, training bases, courses, competitions and university clubs to build the whole process service of "study, examination, use and retention", build the OpenHarmony ecological talent position, and jointly promote the training of root and technical talents.

In order to help all kinds of developers learn and grow and complete their professional advancement, Open Atomic Open Source will work with the working Committee of OpenHarmony Project Group to join hands with a number of partners, including Huawei, Oriental Chuangke, Honghu Wanlian, Huaqiu Electronics, Jiulian Kaihong, Kaihong Zhigu, Runkaihong, Shenkaihong, New World Education, Zheng Tong Electronics, etc., to jointly prepare for OpenHarmony talent certification.

At the same time, the conference also issued the "OpenHarmony Star Plan", which aims to solicit and build textbooks, courses, MOOC and Demo, highlight the characteristics of OpenHarmony, put forward demonstration examples, help rapid curriculum construction, converge into a resource database of university content, and speed up the construction of a multi-dimensional open, resource-sharing and collaborative talent training system.

Liu Xiaojian said that the success of OpenHarmony depends not only on its advanced technology, but also on the prosperity of its talent ecology.
