The Sina trend of artificial intelligence is in full swing, and Chinese Internet companies strive to keep pace with each other.

The six-day top global AI conference, NeurlPS, was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA on December 10, local time. According to the data disclosed by NeurlPS, a total of 12343 valid papers were submitted at this session, with an acceptance rate of only 26.1%. Twenty papers of Ant Group were included.

NeurIPS is the top conference in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the world, and ICML is also known as the most difficult, high-level and influential meeting in the field of artificial intelligence.

It is understood that the selected paper covers many cutting-edge topics in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, such as computer vision, natural language processing, graph neural networks, image processing and so on. More than 70% of the papers focus on solving some defects and problems in the development of AIGC (generative AI) in the past year.

For example, the article "time series prediction based on learnable and explainable bases" is a follow-up research result of Pyraformer, which was previously selected as another AI summit meeting ICLR2022. This paper uses the cross-attention mechanism to decompose the time series into a set of learnable bases, and further uses the historical base weights and the future part of the base to predict the future, which improves the prediction performance of power, exchange rate, transportation and other scenarios.

Another paper, "benchmark testing and Analysis of 3D Perceptual Image Generation based on Modular Code Base", attempts to solve a problem in the field of 3D perceptual image generation: various techniques and schemes are usually mixed in practical work, but it is not clear which module of the algorithm plays a key role in the final effect. The highly structured code base Carver built in this paper allows developers to develop and replace each module independently, which can not only improve the accuracy of 3D image generation, but also accelerate the development efficiency.

The article "Prompt Pool and continuous Learning of temporal Point process Model" optimizes a defect of the traditional training method of temporal model, and the training results are static, that is, they will not be learned or updated after deployment. This paper constructs a PromptTPP continuous learning model, which can maintain continuous learning and constantly update and improve its performance and knowledge base. This new time series model can improve the accuracy of trend prediction of scenarios with obvious time sequence characteristics, such as financial market analysis and forecast, traffic flow and transportation.

On December 10, Ant Group was also invited to hold a seminar on the theme of "knowledge-enhanced AI Application Exploration in Vertical Industry" on the first day of the conference. The seminar revolves around the new height of big data-driven machine intelligence technology in the past year, but when it is applied in professional vertical industries, it is still faced with many problems, such as many hallucinations of content, high toxicity, low knowledge, poor robustness, serious discrimination and so on. Focus on knowledge-enhanced AI technology how to integrate vertical industry expertise with big data-driven machine intelligence. A new paradigm of machine intelligence is constructed, which is knowledge enhancement, man-machine cooperation, fair and inclusive, stable and robust.

It is understood that in the past five years, Ant Group has published nearly 500 papers in international top academic journals and conferences, including more than 300 papers in the field of AI.
