The "keel hinge" mentioned by Yu Chengdong happens to be similar to the name of "Xiaomi keel shaft" of Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 mobile phone.

Xiaomi keel rotating shaft claims to have both light and thin folding and true flagship, using innovative 3-level connecting rod rotating shaft, 14 movable joints, 198 rotating shaft parts, non-hole design rotating shaft floating plate, screen flatness greatly improved, unfolding shape thinned by 8.6%, folding shape thinner by 12.5%, hinge width narrowed by 8%, and hinge area space reduced by 17%.

According to the latest statement from Xiaomi, Xiaomi applied for a patent on September 18, 2020, granted a patent on January 5, 2021, and launched its application on Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 in August 2023.
