Automobile production and sales completed 309.3 and 2.97 million vehicles respectively, an increase of 7% and 4.1% respectively over the previous month, and an increase of 29.4% and 27.4% respectively over the same period last year. Among them, car production reached an all-time high.

Domestic car sales in the month were 2.488 million, up 5.2% from the previous month and 24.3% from the same period last year, while car exports were 482000, down 1.1% from the previous month and up 46.3% from the same period last year.

From January to November, automobile production and sales completed 2711.1 million and 26.938 million vehicles respectively, an increase of 10% and 10.8% respectively over the same period last year, and an increase of 2 and 1.7 percentage points respectively over January-October.

In that month, the production and sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 1 million for the first time: production was 1.074 million and sales were 1.026 million, an increase of 39.2% and 30% respectively over the same period last year, with a market share of 34.5%.

In that month, domestic sales of new energy vehicles were 929000, up 11.7% from the previous month and 33.9% from the same period last year. Exports of 97000 new energy vehicles were down 21.8% from the previous month, up 1.6% from the same period last year.

From January to November, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 842.6 million and 8.304 million respectively, an increase of 34.5% and 36.7% respectively over the same period last year, and the market share reached 30.8%.

The China Automobile Association said the car market continued to improve in November, with production hitting an all-time high and sales approaching 3 million. In that month, automobile production and sales increased compared with the same period last year, passenger cars continued a good trend, new energy vehicles and automobile exports led the growth of the industry, and automobile production and sales were expected to reach an all-time high for the whole year, exceeding expectations and achieving the annual forecast target.
