CTOnews.com news on December 9, Telegraph Telegram founder Pavel Durov posted that Telegram Premium has become the fastest growing paid subscription in the history of messaging applications less than a year and a half after its launch.

The number of Premium subscribers has doubled in just five months and quadrupled in the past 12 months. Today, it has more than 4 million users. Telegram currently has more than 800 million monthly active users.

CTOnews.com noted that Durov announced last month that it would give away 10,000 and a half annual premium subscriptions, which will be purchased through the cryptocurrency Toncoin at a total cost of $200000 (currently about 1.434 million yuan).

Telegram Premium provides many features, including 4 GB file upload, faster download, real-time translation, custom emoticons, advanced stickers, delete ads, etc.

Some features:

"restrictions" doubled: up to 1000 channels, 20 chat folders, 10 pushpins, 4 accounts (in one application), 200 pushpins in a folder, 20 public links for channels and groups, 10 favorite stickers and 400 GIF.
