CTOnews.com previously reported that Google is preparing to launch a "simple migration tool" for this purpose, allowing users to add podcast RSS to YouTube Music in advance, including programs that are not currently hosted by YouTube.

For users who prefer to listen to different platforms, Google Podcast also supports downloading OPML files of their shows (an XML-compliant file format), which users can download and import into apps that support the format.

Google Podcast was released in June 2018, and it has been five years since then.
