Nasser Bahri, chairman of the summit, said: "from 2023 to 2027, the electric vehicle market in the United Arab Emirates will grow at an annual rate of 27.2%."

Research by Arthur D Little, an international consultancy, also shows that electric vehicles in the United Arab Emirates rank eighth in the world in terms of readiness and are classified as an "emerging electric vehicle market". The market is expected to grow at an annual rate of 30 per cent between 2022 and 2028, with great potential.
