The final chapter of GTFO: Rundown 8.0: Duality is now available as a free content update, with more than 80 quests, giving players the ultimate horror battle experience.

At The Game Awards (TGA) on December 8, Stockholm game development studio 10 Chambers announced the final chapter of the tactical cooperative horror shooter GTFO: Rundown 8.0: Duality, which was previously known in the industry for PAYDAY: The Heist and PAYDAY 2.

Duality's final chapter pushes the game's story to a thrilling climax, with teams of four players working as a team to escape underground bunkers (Garganta Complex). GTFO has been continuously updated since the game was launched in 2019, and Duality is its 12th major free update, adding a new quest to the game-Adventure, bringing the total number of quests to more than 80. With the launch of the final chapter, GTFO will redefine this challenging horror theme multiplayer cooperative shooter, bringing hundreds of hours of intense, exciting and thrilling experience to players.

"In 2017, TGA, we published GTFO for the first time. Six years later, we hope to reveal the end of this story on TGA. Ulf Andersson, creative director at 10 Chambers, said: "It's important to note that although GTFO's story is coming to an end, the game will continue to operate and maintain. If you're a hardcore gamer, it's still a game that you can play over and over again."

In GTFO, players are forcibly detained in the underground city by mysterious forces, and the team needs to escape through communication, cooperation and equipment management. As you navigate the Gaganta complex, players will face more and more mysterious creatures, each of which will pose unique challenges and require different tactics and strategies. In GTFO, teamwork means survival, conflict, or annihilation.

GTFO will not stop operating and will continue to optimize game quality and service experience. Since the game's launch in 2019, previously released Rundown content will be cycled through the game quarterly for free play and will continue to be available to the game's existing fan base and new players.
