Based on the innovative AMD CDNA architecture and optimized for millions of terabytes of secondary performance and energy savings, the AMD Instinct MI300A Accelerator is an innovative accelerated processor (APU) for HPC and AI, providing 24 "Zen 4" CPU cores and 128GB CPU and GPU shared HBM3 memory for extraordinary performance.

AMD Instinct MI300A APU combines Zen 4, CDNA 3, and Generation 4 Infinity architectures and interconnect technologies, and some of its performance is as follows:

The maximum computing power is 61 TFLOPS under FP64 precision.

Under FP32 precision, the maximum computing power is 122 TFLOPS.

The encapsulation of MI300A is very similar to that of MI300X, except that the former uses TCO-optimized memory capacity and the Zen 4 kernel.

Each active die has two CDNA 3 GCD, providing a separate cache and core IP pool. Each CCD has 8 cores and 16 threads, so there are always 24 cores and 48 threads on the active chip. There is also a 24 MB L2 cache (1 MB per kernel) and a separate cache pool (32 MB per CCD).

In terms of GPU, AMD supports a total of 228 computing units, equivalent to 14592 cores, based on the CDNA 3 architecture. In other words, each GPU chip has 38 computing units.
