According to DigiTimes,AMD 's new generation of Instinct MI300 accelerators, it is estimated that about 300000 to 400000 units will be shipped in 2024, of which the biggest customers are Microsoft and Google.

As early as June, AMD revealed that the MI300X series will be available to partners in the third quarter, while MI300A will start offering samples in the second quarter. Now, AMD seems ready for a public offering.

AMD MI300X has up to 8 XCD cores, 304sets of CU units, 8 groups of HBM3 cores, and the maximum video memory capacity can reach 192GB, which is equivalent to 2.4x of NVIDIA H100 80GB. At the same time, HBM memory bandwidth is up to 5.2TB / HBM Infinity Fabric bus bandwidth also has 896GB/s, which also exceeds Nvidia H100.
