The announcement states that the above words and deeds seriously violated the rules of Douyin platform, and Douyin carried out strict handling, including indefinitely blocking the above 10 accounts, erasing their improper acquisition of fans, canceling their profit permissions such as live streaming and bringing goods, and removing related videos.

It is reported that in order to protect the rights and interests of users, in response to the organized release of a large number of low-quality, homogeneous and even illegal content by black ash production gangs in the form of multiple accounts ("large and small accounts"), Douyin officially updated the "Douyin Matrix improper behavior Governance rules" from December 1, 2023. According to the requirements of the new rules, Douyin will severely crack down on matrix accounts that systematically publish low-quality, homogeneous or even illegal content, or that its own content does not violate the rules, but diverts improperly profitable accounts (large accounts) through other illegal accounts (secondary accounts).

For the above improper profit accounts, once verified, in accordance with the "new rules" requirements, Douyin will be involved in all accounts ("large and small"), unified and strict disposal. Especially for "main account", it will be punished according to the new rule of "improper profit". The specific disposal methods include, but are not limited to, the cancellation of its contribution and profit authority, the erasure of account fans, the closure of accounts, and the withdrawal of MCN institutions to which illegal accounts belong. If the circumstances are serious, Douyin will report to the public security organs to cooperate with the investigation and crackdown.
