CTOnews.com, December 6 (Xinhua) recently, more and more iPhone users have reported that they often encounter a problem when using the iOS 17 system: when typing, they will suddenly jump to the app switching interface. This causes users to inexplicably jump to other applications when using applications such as messages and memos, because when the app switching interface suddenly appears, the user is still typing on the screen, so it is easy to mistakenly touch and jump to other applications.

According to user feedback on Apple Community forums and Reddit, the problem seems to occur when users type quickly. This problem occurs in all versions of iOS 17, including the latest iOS 17.1.2. Some users have even replaced the new iPhone, but the problem still exists.

Until Apple solves this problem, there is a temporary solution to turn off the "Reachability" function, the one-handed mode of operation, which lowers the upper half of the screen and makes it easier for fingers to reach.

CTOnews.com notes that disabling the Reachability feature seems to effectively address the above issues for all affected users, indicating that there may be an unknown accessibility-related sensitivity issue in iOS 17.
