In terms of product layout, in terms of batteries, it is planned to launch 8 self-developed batteries, such as liquid, semi-solid and solid, by 2030, forming a battery capacity of 50-80GWh.

Changan Automobile said that it will carry out technical research on liquid battery material modification and system optimization, constantly improve the battery energy density, achieve the application of 3C, popularize 5C, pre-research 7C, charge 7 minutes as soon as possible, and last 400 kilometers.

Changan Automobile also said that deep ploughing semi-solid, solid-state battery new electrolyte material development, key process development, based on vehicle demand, forward development of leading solid-state battery, starting from 2025 gradually mass production application, weight energy density of 350-500Wh/kg, volume energy density of 750-1000Wh / L, fully popularized in 2030.

In terms of new batteries, Changan Automobile is carrying out the prototype cell design of lithium-sulfur batteries, metal batteries and other new batteries, and it is expected that the energy density will exceed 1300-1500Wh/kg, and strive to achieve carrying applications in 2035.

In terms of battery Pack integration, the first CTV technology will begin mass production in 2024, achieving group efficiency ≥ 86%. In the aspect of battery energy system, through the expansion of technology, products and business model, we take "energy" as the main line to create a complete renewable energy ecological circle, form an industrial closed loop of energy production, storage and utilization, and maximize the value of the whole industry chain.

In terms of system capability, Changan Automobile has set up an Advanced Battery Research Institute, with more than 1200 battery research and development personnel, including senior experts and top academic talents. In the future, another 10 billion yuan will be invested and the battery team will reach 3000 people by 2024.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, Changan Automobile launched a self-developed battery brand and named it Changan "Golden Bell cover", which aims to solve users' problems in energy density, charge and discharge efficiency, cycle life and low temperature performance.
