CTOnews.com December 5 news, Foxconn parent company Foxconn Group now released a summary of November revenue, November sales reached 650.02 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 147.555 billion yuan), a month-on-month decrease of 12.3%, an increase of 17.95% year-on-year, the second highest level for the same period in previous years.

For comparison, Hon Hai's October camp received NT $741.2 billion (currently about 167.511 billion yuan), up 12.20 per cent from a month earlier and down 4.56 per cent from a year earlier.

In the first 11 months of this year, Hon Hai's cumulative revenue reached 5.69 trillion yuan, down 4.89% from a year earlier, the second highest in the same period of the previous year. Sales in the fourth quarter will exceed expectations, Hon Hai said.

Hon Hai said that the second half of the year was the traditional peak season for the communications industry, with revenue performance slightly higher than expected in the first two months of the fourth quarter, so the actual performance in the fourth quarter was expected to be better than originally expected for "significant growth".

Data show that Hon Hai's November revenue in all four major categories declined slightly compared with October. Compared with the same period last year, the "consumer smart product category" and "components and other product category" showed strong growth, while "computer terminal product category" and "cloud network product category" declined compared with the same period last year. The cumulative revenue of "components and other products category" and "consumer smart product category" in the first 11 months was about the same as that in the same period last year, while "cloud network product category" and "computer terminal product category" declined slightly compared with the same period last year.

According to the third quarter report of 2023 released by Foxconn Group, Hon Hai's revenue in the third quarter was 1.54 trillion New Taiwan dollars (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 348.04 billion yuan), down 12 percent from a year earlier, and the market estimated 1.55 trillion New Taiwan dollars.

Foxconn Group's net profit in the third quarter was 43.13 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 9.747 billion yuan), an increase of 11 percent over the same period last year, and the market estimated 34.01 billion New Taiwan dollars.
