CTOnews.com, December 4 (Xinhua)-- Byte Jump has announced the launch of an open platform that will allow users to create their own chat robots, in an effort to catch up in the fierce competition for generative artificial intelligence, the South China Morning Post reported.

The project, called Robot Development platform, is scheduled to launch a public beta by the end of this month, according to byte beat internal memos. This new trend is in line with the company's strategic vision of "exploring new generative AI products and their integration with existing products".

The social media giant is already developing its own text-to-image generator, similar to Midjourney, according to a person familiar with the matter.

As of the CTOnews.com press release, Byte Jing has not commented on the matter.

As China's most valuable unicorn company, Byte Jing has used some form of artificial intelligence since its inception, and its recommendation algorithm is also regarded as a successful "secret weapon" such as Douyin.
