Shulou(Shulou.com)12/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen knsgccxr for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com December 4 news, Infineon issued an announcement on November 29, launching the latest member of EZ-USB series programmable USB peripheral controller: EZ-USB FX10.

According to reports, the device provides a fast connection between USB 10Gbps and LVDS interfaces, and the total bandwidth is three times higher than that of previous products.

The EZ-USB FX10 is equipped with dual ARM Cortex-M4 and M0 + kernel CPU, 512 KB flash memory, 128 KB SRAM, 128 KB ROM, and seven serial communication blocks (SCB). It also includes a cryptographic accelerator and a high bandwidth data subsystem.

The high-bandwidth data subsystem supports direct memory access (DMA) data transfer between LVDS / LVCMOS and USB ports at speeds up to 10 Gbps. An additional 1 MB SRAM for USB data buffering supports data transfer. The peripheral controller provides USB-C connector direction detection and flip multiplexer functions without external logic.

In addition, the EZ-USB FX10 requires a smaller PCB area in a 10 x 10 mm ²BGA package. In addition, it supports USB-C direct connection without the need for high-speed signal multiplexers, thus simplifying the design process. The EZ-USB FX10 DVK (development kit) also comes with standard FPGA mezzanine card (FMC) connectors that can be connected to field programmable gate array (FPGA) boards and integrated programming and debugging accessory boards. The controller comes with a comprehensive set of hardware and software design application instructions that enable developers to create high-performance devices for a variety of applications.

CTOnews.com learned from the official announcement that EZ-USB FX10 will be officially launched at the International Image Technology and equipment Technology Exhibition (ITE 2023) in Yokohama, Japan, on December 6.
