According to the report, the Galaxy Book 4 was unveiled a month and a half earlier than the previous generation (CTOnews.com Note: the Galaxy Book 3 series of notebooks were released in early February this year). Samsung chose to release it earlier this time because Samsung needs to embody the symbolism of this new product as the "first AI notebook".

Galaxy Book 4 is expected to carry its self-developed AI model "Samsung Gauss", and the device does not need to transmit the collected information to a central server, which means that the built-in "Gauss" of the laptop will support local operation.

The laptop is equipped with a Core Ultra series processor that includes a neural network processing unit (NPU) in the system-on-chip for the first time, enabling the computer to handle multiple AI computing tasks without a network connection. LG Electronics and Hewlett-Packard are also preparing to launch AI notebooks with Core Ultra processors and are currently "weighing the timing," the report said.

In terms of configuration, the Pro / Ultra model of this series of notebooks will be equipped with Intel's latest Core Ultra 1-generation processor, the standard model will be equipped with Core Digital 1-generation processor, and the Ultra model can also be selected as RTX 4070.

In terms of screen, the standard version of the notebook series comes with a 1080p screen, and the Pro and Ultra models have a 2.8K OLED panel.
