CTOnews.com December 2 news, Intel China today released a warm-up poster, announcing the release of Core Ultra processors in China on December 15.

On the official poster, Intel highlights the core performance and AI capabilities of the Core Ultra processor, which is locally generated using the AIGC tool.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Intel introduced the first Core Ultra processor (Meteor Lake) based on the Intel 4 process at the Intel ON Technology Innovation Summit in September.

Intel said that thanks to advanced Foveros 3D packaging technology, Meteor Lake adopted a separate module architecture, dividing the entire processor into functional partitions of computing modules, IO modules, SoC modules and graphics modules, bringing about revolutionary architectural changes in Intel client SoC over the past 40 years.

The processor uses a 3D high-performance hybrid architecture consisting of performance cores (Redwood Cove) and energy efficiency cores (Crestmont) and low power efficiency cores. Intel says it has achieved an excellent energy consumption ratio in the history of PC processors and integrated neural network processing units (NPU) into PC processors for the first time, accelerating the popularity of artificial intelligence.

MeteorLake introduces Al into client-side PC to provide low-latency Al computing, which can better protect data privacy at a lower cost. Intel said that starting with MeteorLake, Intel will widely introduce Al into PC, leading hundreds of millions of PC into the AI era, while the vast x86 ecosystem will provide a wide range of software models and tools.
