CTOnews.com news on December 2, according to whistleblower @ XenoPanther, traces of Win11 24H2 were found in Microsoft group policy file PolicyDefinitions\ en-US\ Windows.adml.

The whistleblower found a reference to "Windows 11 Version 24H2" in the group policy "Enable Delegated Managed Service Account logons" (enabling authorized hosting account login), but this did not rule out the possibility that it was an official clerical error at Microsoft.

CTOnews.com quoted the Business Times as saying that Microsoft plans to launch its Win12 system in June 2024, which will introduce a large number of AI elements. Lin Baili, chairman of Quanta Group, and Chen Junsheng, chairman and CEO of Acer, are optimistic about AI edge computing opportunities.

Lin Baili stressed that AI PC may come out next summer, and Quanta will be the first to invest. Chen Junsheng reiterated that generative AI brings new opportunities to the PC industry, and AI PC is happening and will continue to accelerate.

Lin Baili expects that when Microsoft launches a new generation of Windows operating system next summer, AI PC will also be launched one after another, and the demand is still difficult to estimate, but it is "a good opportunity" for the industry.

As for the AI server with strong demand, Lin Baili pointed out that due to the impact of the chip supply chain, many of the demand is still unable to meet, and after the supply chain problem is solved, the momentum of Quanta shipments will also increase, bringing more significant operational contribution to Quanta next year.
