CTOnews.com learned from the patent abstract that the patent relates to the field of self-driving technology, which inversely predicts the state of related traffic signals (traffic lights or traffic police gestures) through the traffic behavior information of the target intersection, which can avoid relying only on traffic signal image perception to realize traffic signal state detection in related technology, and improve the accuracy of traffic signal state detection.

The method of the invention includes: obtaining the traffic behavior information of the target intersection, the target intersection is the intersection where the traffic signal light of the vehicle driving direction is located, and the traffic behavior information indicates the behavior of at least one traffic participant; according to the traffic behavior information, determine the state detection result of the traffic signal, the traffic signal includes the traffic signal light or the traffic police gesture signal, and the state detection result indicates the state of the traffic signal.
