To mark the 30th anniversary of the car, Toyota re-launched the Land Cruiser 70 in Japan in 2014, with limited sales for one year. In August, Toyota again brought a new rebuilt Land Cruiser 70 to the Japanese and Australian markets. Today, the car goes on sale in Japan for 4.8m yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 233000 yuan). It is expected to produce 400 cars a month, and it is also possible to enter the domestic market through parallel imports.

The new Land Cruiser 70 features a more stylish retro style, with a rectangular intake grille and round headlights on the front face showing the classic elements of the car, as well as adding exclusive English alphabet logos on the blackened middle net and the left and right fenders to enhance the car's personality and recognition. The design of the side and rear of the body has not changed much, still maintaining the square lines and the rear door of the opposite door.

In terms of interior decoration, the new Land Cruiser 70 has also been adjusted in some details, replacing the new style dashboard, automatic shift lever and multi-function steering wheel. The car has a five-seat layout, and the pre-listed model is standard with black synthetic leather + fabric seats, 16-inch rims matching AT tires, LED far and near headlights, anti-dazzling internal rearview mirror (with reversing image), manual air conditioning and so on.

On the power side, the new Land Cruiser 70 carries a 2.8T diesel engine with a maximum power of 150kW and a peak torque of 500Nm, matching a six-block self-contained gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.
