CTOnews.com November 30 News, Microsoft President Brad Smith (Brad Smith) said that in the next 12 months, there can be no super intelligent artificial intelligence.

OpenAI's progress on the project, called Q *, has led some company insiders to believe that this may be a breakthrough for them to find "super intelligence, or AGI". OpenAI defines AGI as a "smarter AI system than humans".

But Smith denied the claims, saying: "I don't think it's true at all. I think it's obviously a disagreement between the board and others, but it's not based on such concerns." Smith added: "the so-called AGI (artificial general intelligence), in which computers are more powerful than humans, is absolutely impossible in the next 12 months. It will take years, or even decades, but I still think we should focus on security now."

CTOnews.com noted that today coincides with the first anniversary of OpenAI's launch of ChatGPT. Although ChatGPT has triggered an investment boom in AI, it has also raised concerns that such systems may pose a threat to human survival.
