CTOnews.com, November 30 (Xinhua)-- Google recently updated its Chrome browser to version 119.0.6045.199Uniq200, urgently fixing the zero-day vulnerability CVE-2023-6345 that was discovered on November 24, as well as six other security vulnerabilities.

▲ source Google is reported that Google has fixed a total of six hacked Chrome zero-day vulnerabilities this year, while Google's current zero-day vulnerability, CVE-2023-6345, is an integer overflow vulnerability in the Skia drawing engine.

CTOnews.com Note: Skia is a 2D graphics library written by C++. Google bought Skia in 2005 and opened it up. Skia is currently used in Chrome browsers, ChromeOS, Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Android, Firefox OS, Flutter, Avalonia and LibreOffice products.

The zero-day vulnerability CVE-2023-6345 is a new vulnerability discovered by two researchers from Google's threat Analysis Group (Threat Analysis Group,TAG) on November 24. Hackers have already exploited this vulnerability. Google recommends that all users update their Chrome browser to version 119.0.6045.199200 immediately.
