CTOnews.com, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) Xiaomi will launch its new Redmi 13C 5G phone in India on December 6, which is now on sale at Amazon.

The Redmi 13C was released in Nigeria earlier this month, but only a 4G version, while India will offer both 5G and 4G models, which will be the first C-Series Redmi phone to support 5G.

The Redmi 13C sold in Nigeria carries MediaTek's Helio G85 chip, while it is not clear which chip is in the 5G version, and foreign media say the 8+256GB version is priced at less than 15000 rupees (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1284 yuan).

Redmi 13C 4G version is equipped with Helio G85 chip, provides storage configuration for 4GB + 128GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, and is pre-installed with MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13.

The phone features a 6.74in (720x1600 pixel) LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 450N.

In addition, the phone is equipped with a 5000-megapixel rear camera (f / 1.8), a 2-megapixel macro camera (f / 2.4) and an 8-megapixel front camera (f / 2.0).

In other areas, the Redmi 13C will provide at least two color options, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, 3.5mm headphone socket and USB Type-C interface, built-in 5000mAh battery, support for 18W PD charging.
