CTOnews.com, November 29 (Xinhua)-- Jihu Motor will launch a new all-electric car, the Alpha S5, at the Beijing Auto Show in April next year, which is the brand's second car product after Alpha S. The Alpha S5 is a medium-sized car with a range of more than 500 kilometers, which has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

CTOnews.com noted that the design of the Alpha S5 is significantly different from that of the Alpha S, with a sharper front face and sharper headlight sets and front bumpers. The side lines of the car body are smooth, the outline of the slippery back type is adopted, and the rear part of the car is also designed with a duckling tail, which increases the stability and movement of the car body. The Alpha S5 is also equipped with hidden door handles, through taillight sets, and lidar. The Alpha S5 has a length, width and height of 4820, 1930, 1480mm and a wheelbase of 2900 mm, offering 18-inch and 19-inch rim options, as well as five different rim styles.

Alpha S5 uses a new interior design style, the steering wheel is a dual-format multi-function steering wheel, there is no traditional dashboard, but the relevant vehicle information is projected on the windshield through HUD. There is a floating touch screen on the center console, an air conditioner outlet and a mobile phone wireless charging board below.

In terms of power, the Alpha S5 uses a single motor layout, with a maximum motor power of 185kW, equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack of 65kwh, and a pure electric range of 560km under CLTC conditions.
