Nationwide, passenger car manufacturers wholesale 1.596 million vehicles, up 19% from the same period last year, down 9% from the same period last month. So far this year, a total of 21.867 million passenger cars have been wholesale, up 8% from the same period last year.

From November 1 to 26, retail sales in the new energy vehicle market were 563000, up 33 percent from the same period last year, down 7 percent from the same period last month, and 6.517 million retail units so far this year, up 34 percent from the same period last year. National passenger car manufacturers wholesale 679000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 42 percent over the same period last year, 0 percent over the same period last month, and 7.479 million wholesale vehicles so far this year, an increase of 36 percent over the same period last year.

In October 2023, China exported 526000 cars, with a sustained strong export growth rate of 47%. From January to October 2023, China exported 4.24 million cars, with a sustained strong export growth rate of 58 per cent. The average price of automobile exports in 2023 was 20000 US dollars, compared with 18000 US dollars in 2022. From January to October 2023, China exported 1.445 million new energy vehicles, an increase of 69 percent over the same period last year, of which 1.4 million new energy passenger vehicles were exported in 2023, an increase of 77 percent over the same period last year, accounting for 97 percent of new energy vehicle exports.
