It is reported that the system can provide comprehensive solutions for scenarios such as intelligent breeding, digital planting, digital supervision of agriculture-related finance, education and training of farmers, agricultural data trading center, government agricultural data governance, and so on. According to reports, the system connects all agricultural production equipment and data, realizes natural data sharing and business end-to-side cooperation, and can be widely used in many agricultural production links, such as breeding, sowing, fertilization, farming, prevention of diseases and insect pests, and so on.

"We hope that through the agricultural open source Hongmeng operating system, we can realize the dynamic simulation and scientific decision-making of the whole process of agricultural production, establish a new agricultural ecosystem, promote agricultural fine management, and enhance the value of each mu of land." Citic Agriculture will build a digital agricultural service system from science to service (Science to Service), and help improve the quality and efficiency of the agricultural industry chain by digital means.

According to Dr. Wang Chenglu, CEO of Shen Kaihong, the agricultural open source Hongmeng operating system is a new generation of Wisdom operating system for digital agriculture based on KaihongOS, which provides a unified digital base for the interconnection and collaboration of devices of different sizes and types, so that all agricultural equipment use a unified operating system and speak the same language, and the key technologies of the whole stack are independently developed by China. It ensures the security and reliability of the data from the source of the underlying operating system.

OpenHarmony version 4.0 was officially released on October 26, and the development kit was upgraded to API 10 synchronously. The Beta version of OpenHarmony 4.1 is expected to be tested and released by the end of the year, the Release release is expected to be released in the first quarter of next year, and OpenHarmony 5.0 is expected to be released in the third quarter.
