According to the agreement, the two sides will focus on the major strategy of serving the country, carry out strategic cooperation in key areas such as forward-looking research and development, automobile going to sea, and ecological construction, and jointly build a new generation of world-class automobile cities and world-class automobile enterprises.

Interestingly, at the full-scene press conference of Wisdom S7 and Huawei on the same day, Huawei Yu Chengdong expressed the hope that China FAW Group would join the new joint venture. "China's powerful car factories, such as FAW, are welcome to participate in the co-construction and jointly create the products of the most advanced and ultimate smart car solutions."

Yu Chengdong said that Huawei will still lead the technology research and development direction of the new joint venture, and Huawei's smart car business partners will join the joint venture one after another in the future. Changan Automobile has announced its intention to invest in the new company, and Huawei has also issued invitations to Cyrus, Chery, Jianghuai and BAIC.
