CTOnews.com, Nov. 29 (Xinhua)-- Google introduced the Shortcut feature in Android 7.1, which is similar to Apple iOS's Haptic Touch (tactile touch) feature today, allowing users to quickly manipulate App by long pressing / repressing the App icon on the screen.

However, according to foreign media 9to5Google, Google quietly adjusted the Shortcut function in Android 14. Now users press the application icon and will no longer display notification information, but will only display shortcuts to create applications, shortcuts to apply presets and widgets.

Many users of 9to5Google, a foreign ▲ media, were dissatisfied with the change, which claimed that there had been more than 100 comments asking Google to restore relevant functions, but CTOnews.com noted that an official Google spokesman replied that it was a "change as expected".
