CTOnews.com, Nov. 28 (Xinhua)-- Michael Waldron, the lead screenwriter for the first season of Loki, will replace Jeff Loveness, the screenwriter of Ant Man and Hornet Girl: quantum Madness, in charge of the Avengers 5: the Dynasty of Kang, according to Deadline.

Foreign media IGN has confirmed to a person familiar with the matter that Waldron will write both Avengers 5: the Dynasty of Kang and Avengers 6: secret Wars.

The news came after Joanna Robinson, author of MCU: the domination of Marvel Studios, said in a recent podcast that Loveness was no longer working with Marvel. Loveness wrote the script Ant Man and Hornet Girl: quantum Madness, in which Kang played an extremely prominent role. IGN has heard that Loveness has written a draft script for Avengers 5: the Dynasty of Kang, but it is not clear how many of them will be used.

Avengers 5: the Dynasty of Kang is currently set for release on May 1, 2026, which means the release date is still a long way off.
