CTOnews.com, November 27, the State Administration of Radio and Television has organized and examined three standard documents, including "Technical requirements for Cable TV Service", "Technical requirements for IPTV Business" and "Technical requirements for Internet TV Business". It is now approved and promulgated as the recommended industry standard for radio and television and network audio-visual services of the people's Republic of China.

CTOnews.com found from the "Internet TV Business Technical requirements" that the document mentioned that "the start-up time of Internet TV applications should be less than 3 seconds and not more than 5 seconds." The start-up time of Internet TV application should be included in the start-up time of Internet TV application.

The document also mentions that the interactive home page should set up a significant and convenient entrance to the free business zone, and the number of operations from the default focus of the interactive home page to the entrance to the free business zone should not exceed 3 times.

In the part of audio and video technical requirements, it is mentioned that the nominal format naming of Internet TV programs should be consistent with the actual transmission video parameters, and the specific technical requirements are as follows.

HD audio and video:

The HD video resolution should be 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels, the aspect ratio should be 16:9, and the frame rate should not be lower than 24fps.

Audio should support stereo or 5.1 surround sound, and the sampling rate should not be lower than that of 44.1kHz.

4K ultra-high definition audio and video:

The resolution of 4K UHD video should be 3840 pixels x 2160 pixels, the aspect ratio should be 16:9, the frame rate should not be lower than 50fps, the quantization accuracy should be 10bit, GB / T 41809-2022 color gamut and GB / T 41808-2022 high dynamic range (HDR) should be used, and HDR video display adaptation specified by GY / T 41808-2022 can be supported.

The audio should support stereo sound or 5.1 surround sound, the sampling rate should not be less than 44.1 kHz; it can support three-dimensional sound, and the three-dimensional sound decoding should comply with the regulations of GY / T363-2023.
