According to CTOnews.com news on November 27, Huawei and Sharp announced today that they will sign a new long-term global patent cross-license agreement. The protocol covers the necessary patents of cellular standards, including 4G and 5G.

Fan Zhiyong, head of Huawei's intellectual property rights department, said: "Huawei is very happy to reach this new license agreement with Sharp through friendly exchanges."
