The Shantou-Shantou high-speed railway, together with the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway, the Zhangshan high-speed railway, the Fuxia-Zhangzhou high-speed railway, the Wenfu high-speed railway and the Yong-Tai-Wen high-speed railway, will form the Yong-Guangzhou high-speed railway along the southeast coast of the country, passing through 15 cities in Guangdong, Fujian and Zhejiang provinces.
