The coronal clouds released by giant sunspots can be clearly seen on the sun's surface in an image of the sun's surface released by NASA on October 28.

This is the largest coronal cloud aggregation observed so far. It is predicted that solar storms reaching Earth may adversely affect industries such as communications, civil aviation and power.
