CTOnews.com, Nov. 24, Sai Fang Technology announced the self-developed on-chip consistent interconnection IP-Fang Star chain-700 (StarLink-700), and launched the RISC-V multi-core system IP platform based on StarLink-700 and Fang Tianshu-90 (Dubhe-90).

StarLink-700 is a self-developed Interconnect Fabric IP that supports cache consistency, and claims to be the first Mesh architecture interconnection bus IP in China. StarLink-700 supports up to 144nodes, the number of devices that can be connected to a single node is 2-5, and the number of CPU that can be connected is up to 256. it supports IO device Cache consistency, request concurrency and QoS, Snoop Filter and CHI protocol.

Dubhe-90 is the flagship product of Dubhe Max Performance series of Saifang Technology, featuring extreme performance, released in August this year, using 11 + pipeline, five launches, superscalar, deep out-of-sequence execution and other designs, known as performance comparable to ARM Cortex-A76,SPECint2006 9.4 / GHz. Dubhe-90 's customers mainly come from PC, network communication, machine learning, data center and other application fields.

Based on Dubhe-90 and StarLink-700, Saifang Technology built the IP platform for RISC-V multi-core subsystems. The platform also includes: RISC-V Debug Module debugging interface, RISC-V interrupt controller (PLIC, CLINT), power management, security, virtualization, IO consistency (IO Coherency) and memory subsystem. The RISC-V multi-core subsystem IP platform can be widely used in server, DPU, computing storage, network communication, AI and other fields.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, Sai Fang Technology has successively launched two RISC-V CPU Core IP models this year-- the extreme performance IP-90 (Dubhe-90) and the energy-efficient Tianshu-80 (Dubhe-80), an on-film consistent interconnection IP-Fang Star chain-500 (StarLink-500), a RISC-V multi-core subsystem IP platform.
