CTOnews.com November 24, the documentation Foundation today released an update to the maintenance version of LibreOffice 7.6.3, one month after the last version.

A total of 116 BUG have been fixed in this update, and users of all LibreOffice 7.6 branches are officially recommended to upgrade as soon as possible.

LibreOffice 7.6, released on August 21, 2023, includes support for zoom gestures on the touchpad, support for document themes, theme definitions for importing and exporting ODF and OOXML documents, and many improvements to font handling.

The documentation Foundation says the LibreOffice 7.6 branch will continue to support until June 12, 2024, and the next maintenance update will be released in January 2024.

The documentation Foundation today released a LibreOffice Viewer application for Android devices in the Google Play store. This application will allow Android users to view documents based on the standard ODF (Open document format) format as well as proprietary MS Office formats.
