CTOnews.com, November 24, JetBrains launched the static code analysis engine Qodana in June last year, which helps development teams improve code quality through automated checks. Initially, Qodana was designed to provide out-of-the-box integration with JetBrains IDE and immediately provide server-side reports to JetBrains IDE.

In response to the continued appeal of users, Qodana launched a version of the VS Code plug-in that extends JetBrains code intelligence to all VS Code users on the team.

According to reports, developers can use Qodana to get targeted feedback on server-side issues and fix them more quickly-no interference, extra tabs, or extra context switching.

The CTOnews.com download found that the Community version of the tool is free to use, and the Ultimate and Ultimate Plus versions support a 60-day free trial, with a fee to be paid later.
